The Project

This self-initiated vertical ad was created for Ghia’s Original Apéritif, a non-alcoholic beverage. The goal was to develop a piece of motion-led advertising that felt aligned with Ghia’s visual identity while encouraging interest in the product.

Through research, I found that Ghia’s visual world draws from the aesthetics of European luxury cars, experimental art, and the feeling of sharing a drink with friends at sunset on the Mediterranean coast. I used those references to shape the ad’s color, composition, texture, and movement.

Process & Concept

Fluted Glass Texture

Fluted glass texture inspired by Ghia's bottle

Ghia’s distinctive bottle became a key visual reference. I recreated the look of its ribbed glass with a fluted texture layered over the gradient graphics, bringing a tactile product detail into the background of the ad.

Geometric Brand Language

Geometric shapes used in the opening toast sequence

Ghia’s identity combines distinctive geometric shapes in unexpected ways. I brought that visual language into the opening toast sequence, using the shapes to establish the brand-inspired look and energy from the start.

The Clear Eye

Warm-colored animated forms revealing an eye motif

The “Clear Eye” is a recurring motif in Ghia’s branding, reflecting its non-alcoholic beverage line. Throughout the ad, warm-colored, blob-like forms gradually reveal themselves as an eye—a playful visual reveal that ties the animation back to the brand.
